Panasonic just launched a whole new series of Micro Four Thirds lenses a couple of months ago, and it looks like it might soon also have a new Micro Four Thirds camera to take advantage of them.

Panasonic Lumix GX1 |
Panasonic has embraced Micro Four Thirds to the fullest, with a new range of lenses it now appears to have a worthy camera as well, replacing the already brilliant GF1 and GF2. Shots have leaked showing what appears to be the Panasonic GX1, a Micro Four Thirds SLR which will come in above the GF2 in terms of performance and price range.
The already brilliant Panasonic Lumix GF2 took everyone by surprise with MFT when it showed that you could mix good looks with stunning picture quality and all for less than a professional SLR. Of course while it was still a premium product it never felt like it was overpriced thanks to the range of Panasonic Micro Four Thirds lenses that were available for it.
